Home of the stationary locomotive test track...
***********************************************************
Hello my friends
Due to time constraints and the need to start my model railroad, I have decided to pass Testtraxx, 'the business' on to another modeler... perhaps you?
The business comes complete with all materials needed to start producing your new Testtraxxs. The Testraxx domaine is also included with the purchase.
For more information, please contact me by going to my 'Contact' page. This is a great small business opportunity for the person who loves the model
railroad community and wants some independence from the day to day grind of the world in which we live.
Testtraxx is a quality, made in the USA
product. Give me a call or email to discuss this opportunity for you... cheers!

26th National Narrow Gauge Convention 2006 in Durango, Colorado
You may have seen me, showing my prototypes of the all new Testtraxx . I was a late entry to the convention so I was stuck up and a ways out of the main vendor hall...along with Soundtraxx and Blackstone Models...
28th National Narrow Gauge Convention 2008 Portland, Oregon
Here I am again...showing my prototypes of the all new Testtraxx. My display has seen some refinement...
29th National Narrow Gauge Convention 2009 Colorado Springs, Colorado
And again...showing my prototypes of the all new Testtraxxs. A tight display, a little light and the new Nn3 and N/Nn3 Dual gauge Testtraxxs wrapped and ready for sale too!
30th National Narrow Gauge Convention 2010 St. Louis, Missouri
Phew...for the last year, I have been building an addition to our house which includes a new home for Testtraxx and The Shay Fixer. We framed and racked roof trusses at -18 degrees Fahrenheit last winter and I was doing the finish work at 103 degrees Fahrenheit this summer...a true labor of love! It is now time to take a break for a couple of weeks..to ride on and talk trains...
32nd National Narrow Gauge Convention 2012 Bellevue, Washington
Well, the addition is done, I am in my new shop and the convention was upon us. I was told by someone knowledgeable in these things "...that I was the Michael Jackson of Shay locomotives"... You have to stop a moment to catch their drift...but thank you!
33rd National Narrow Gauge Convention 2013 Pasadena, California
An absolute crazy year has come and gone since our last Narrow Gauge Convention up in Belleview, Washington. I did however, for the very first time enter into competition a PFM/United HOn3 Benson Shay. It took second place in the 'Geared Locomotive' division!
This little PFM/United HOn3 25Ton Benson Shay has been transformed from a bras display model into a hardworking little 'Sidewinder'. Her superstructure and frame were drilled, tapped and soldered to accommodate the changes to come. She was then blasted, cleaned, sound cam installed, masked, painted, and clear coated. Then decals were applied and another spray of clear coat put on. The engine was then reassembled, all wheel pick-up and a Maxon RE-1320 motor was installed. After passing a rigorous mechanical Tune-up, a Tsuanami-750 Light Logging decoder was installed along with a 3,300uf Stay Alive circuit, speaker and LED lighting. She was then programmed, weathered, window glass and lenses were installed, superstructure reattached, and then she was extensively tested. To round out the project, a coal load, engineer, fireman and window shades (to hide the cab speaker) were installed! Phew.....
Oh, and did I mention...she runs reeeeal sweeeet!!!
Why buy a Testtraxx?
Testtraxx is fully adjustable, can be used with an 0-4-0 all the way up to the giant Big Boy of UP fame and...it is made right here in the USA!
You can...
Control and monitor the 'break in' of new equipment...
Test new motors, new gears and electrical modifications...
Use to lap new gearing at a controlled rate...
Test and monitor any engine work you perform...
Test decoder installs and operation...
Program decoders in program track or ops mode...
Depending upon how you create your hook up, you can run DC or DCC engines with the flip of a switch...
Adjust your new Tsunami by Soundtraxx in ops mode and hear the changes as you make them in an "acoustically sound neutral zone" without trying to follow the engine around your test oval or layout...
or
...how about just watching your favorite engine run...
